when in DOUBT over layer
Fall Days
dressing for the cold
So this is what our kids will be wearing the rest of the session except for snow days or if we have a random hot day that gets to 70 during class.
Base layer of thermal pants and shirt, think pair of pants and thin long sleeve shirt.
Preschool shirt and jacket and jeans.
Topped with a size two big sweat suit pants and jacket.
Can add a puffy jacket on top if needed.
Thick socks and tennis shoes (as long as their feet will stay dry) and light knit gloves and a beanie or hat.
It keeps them warm and they can peel layers off as needed.
Snow Days
dressing to stay dry
Base layer of thermals, top and bottom.
Think long sleeve shirt and thin pants.
Preschool jacket
Snow suit pants and puffy snow jacket (water proof)
We prefer pants suits that have a full upper cover as opposed to just straps, however don’t buy new ones if you have the other kind.
Snow gloves, beanie, wool socks, and snow boots
Best to have a beanie with flaps to keep ears warm.
We try to put kids even potty trained that need don’t know until the last minute in a pull up under all of this as accidents happen easily trying to get all the layers off.
